It's very nice that I got this far despite my stubborn approach to my particular content; sticking to ORIGINAL stuff with basically no fan-art whatsoever.

It completely works against me, but I wouldn't really have it any other way tbh.

There's plenty of '24 left, and I've still got a game to release, so look forward to it...

I made it to 300 NG art posts. Just in time for the new year, pretty much.

The big 3, very cool. Art quality's still going strong and it's on the rise. It's also interesting to think about; 300 entire pieces up on here!

In any case, let's hope that 2024 will bring forth some great new art (and memories) going forward. With Iris it's certainly a very good start for sure.

It's that time of the year again, so let's get right to it!

Q1: it's the birth of Gleeb. Need I say more?

In all seriousness, it was when I was starting to really get back into art and having some nice ideas. You can see this by me making Gleeb, making Q and all of the Primal / Parallel variants of the enemies. That was fun! So was making the stuff that followed in Feb and March, with the latter having the required annual @Radjon art trade. In Q1 I also started messing around with the OC plaza which I guess kept my skills in shape.

Q2: Hmm... This one is interesting because there's some very big highs but overall art output has been a little low. You can tell this was when I was starting to work on my project a LOT more, as there wasn't too many arts to put on here.

That being said, we have an updated Gigabelle and the Mummy lady, who turned out FANTASTICALLY. So it's not like this was a poor month or anything, I was just busy with the important junk.

Q3: The birth of the gothdolls! Funnily enough the rest of July was pretty slow and was also me working on the project, but those funny dolls have become very near and dear to me indeed. August was when I actually started becoming pals with the funny cactus guy, having traded with him and me making Marbelle. Also the funny pink shark, who some people seem to simp a lot for lol

Q4: Absolutely FULL of new chars! Princess Scary, the mineral princess and a lot of other things. I slowed down on the project a little (I was cleaning up the enemy sprites that were missing I guess!) but overall I'm super proud of all of these new designs. Also this doesn't show anything I'm making for Christmas, so no secret santa spoilers of any kind for NG or my server (or any other special things I might be making for the day ;) )

So overall? Pretty good year for art output! I made some of my best new OCs while making a lot of progress on my project, so... mission accomplished!! Great year!!

Let's hope 2024 can be even better!

Had a really, really bad night on the 15th. Now I don't really make note of things like this, but on the night of the 17th I had a horrible system crash. Which kinda kicked me while I was down.

In short: I lost all progress of a new character I was working on that night.

As well as some assets for attack animations on the game.

Yeah, I was (and still am) pretty devastated by that.

Can't wait for November. It's gonna be a pretty good and. interesting month!

It's when I'm gonna start organising the Secret Santa (far ahead of time) that my own Discord server is gonna have with itself.

It's very fun to organise.

That and it's also the month when my birthday is. Which is always great.

Not only that but I'll hopefully be seeing a soundtrack for my game finally. Speaking of which, it's going good! I've been working on it this whole time and I've been knocking things off on the checklist of things left to do!

Wow, that's a pretty big number!

I'd have made it here way, way sooner but I'm actually working on something pretty big that's basically taking up all my time and attention. And it probably still will for a while, so don't expect too many new art posts outside of the rare Trade and new OC or something.

And I guess a general update too, to what's up...

Been working hard on my project! Working on items currently, but I will say it's going pretty good so far. Not much of the progress is public, but you can still see a lot of it in my server. After this and that it'll be time for some private build testing which is exciting.

It's time consuming but let's hope it'll be worth it!

I've been refraining from mentioning it until now, but for anyone who's following me (and honestly anyone who's reading this), you probably should know that the person who made the game isn't a nice guy. Like, at all.

Stuff has finally surfaced around the 'net about what's been up in that person's discord server, and the kind of things they were doing and promoting.

I don't exactly want to go into detail; you can find that out for yourself if you look hard enough (rest assured, it's evidence that does indeed exist, so this isn't baseless); I'm just writing this to let anyone be aware right now: probably not the wisest idea to support that game's creator.
